Shipping Policy

Ayamaeurope sells wine online and delivers to customers within the European Union (and other destinations where permitted by law).

Shipping Areas

We currently ship to selected countries within the European Union. Availability of shipping destinations may vary depending on the courier and local regulations regarding alcohol delivery, if your area is not automatically covered please contact us directly at: info@ayamaeurope@gmail.com.

Shipping Methods & Couriers

All orders are shipped using third-party courier services. The choice of courier depends on the destination, order size, and availability at the time of shipment.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to:

  • Courier delays

  • Weather conditions

  • Customs or local regulations

  • High-demand periods (holidays, promotions, etc.)

Ayamaeurope cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the courier once the order has been dispatched.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and depend on:

  • Delivery address

  • Number of bottles / crate size

  • Selected shipping method

Any applicable taxes or duties are displayed during checkout where possible.

Order Processing

Orders are usually processed within [1-3] business days after payment confirmation. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.

Risk of Loss & Damage

Wine shipments are carefully packaged to minimize the risk of damage. However, once the order has been handed over to the courier, the risk of loss or damage passes to the customer, in accordance with EU consumer law.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, including photos of:

  • The damaged bottles

  • The packaging

  • The shipping label

This allows us to investigate the claim with the courier.

Failed Deliveries

If a delivery fails due to an incorrect address provided by the customer or absence at the delivery address, additional shipping costs may apply for re-delivery.

Return & Exchange Policy

Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)

In accordance with EU consumer protection law, customers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us in writing (email) within the 14-day period.

Conditions for Returns

Due to the nature of alcoholic beverages, returns are accepted only if:

  • The bottles are unopened, unused, and in their original condition

  • The original packaging is intact

  • The product has not been damaged after delivery

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

Return Shipping

Unless the return is due to a damaged or incorrect product, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Returned items must be securely packaged. Ayamaeurope is not responsible for items damaged during return shipment.

Refunds

Once the returned goods are received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, refunds will be processed within 14 days using the original payment method. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive:

  • Broken bottles

  • Leaking wine

  • The wrong product

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and order details. We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

Exceptions

Returns may be refused if:

  • Bottles have been opened or tampered with

  • Damage occurred after delivery

  • The request is made outside the legal withdrawal period

Age Restriction Policy (18+ Only)

Ayamaeurope sells alcoholic beverages and operates in strict compliance with European Union laws regarding the sale of alcohol.

Legal Drinking Age

You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal drinking age in your country of residence, if higher) to purchase alcohol from this website.

By accessing ayamaeurope and placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are legally permitted to purchase and consume alcohol in your country of residence

  • The recipient of the order is also of legal drinking age

 

Age Verification

Ayamaeurope reserves the right to:

  • Request proof of age before processing or shipping an order

  • Use age-verification measures during checkout or delivery

  • Refuse or cancel any order where age verification cannot be confirmed

Couriers may require age verification upon delivery and may refuse to hand over the shipment if the recipient cannot provide valid proof of age.

 

Responsibility of the Customer

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that alcohol deliveries are received only by individuals who meet the legal age requirements.

Ayamaeurope shall not be held liable for orders placed or received in violation of applicable age-restriction laws.

 

Cancellation Due to Age Restrictions

If an order is cancelled or returned due to failure to meet age-verification requirements, any additional shipping or handling costs may be deducted from the refund.
