ORIGIN: Voor Paardeberg, Western Cape, South Africa.
HARVEST: February by hand.
GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Chenin blanc.
SOIL TYPE: Paardeberg Mountain sandstone, granite and shale.
VINIFICATION: Soft pressing of the bunches. Fermentation and ageing takes place in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures, to preserve the aromatics of the fruit. Bottled early to keep all its freshness.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Excellent with seafood, raw fish and fry. A good option is grilled chicken. Among the cheeses, it is excellent with Halloumi.
TASTING NOTES: A straw appearance with excellent varietal expressions. Very intense aromas, which range from country hay, floral, tropical fruit and apricots, to spice. Plenty of ripe fruit flavours. The acidity well balance by low sugar residual. Intense rounded mouth feel, ripe pear, long and fresh finish.
